Dr. Steven G. Manifold, M.D.
Dr. Manifold graduated with his medical degree from Temple University's School of Medicine in Philadelphia in 1993 and then completed his five year residency in Orthopaedic Surgery at New York Orthopaedic Hospital, Columbia-Presbyterian Medical Center in New York City. Advancing his study, Dr. Manifold completed a fellowship in knee reconstruction and sports medicine at the Insall Scott Kelly Institute and Beth Israel Medical Center in New York City in 1999. Dr. Manifold is Board Certified through the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery and is a Fellow in the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons.
Dr. Manifold is a member of the medical staffs at Kent General Hospital and Milford Memorial Hospital and is the Medical Director of Orthopaedic Surgery for Bayhealth Medical Center. He is also affiliated with the Delaware Surgery Center at Eden Hill Medical Center. Dr. Manifold's role at Bayhealth includes membership in several committees including the Trauma Committee and the Physician On Call Task Force at both Kent General and Milford Memorial Hospitals, the Surgical Series Executive Committee at Kent General Hospital, and the Surgical Operations Work Group at Milford Memorial Hospital. Additionally, Dr. Manifold maintains professional memberships with the American Medical Association, the Medical Society of Delaware, the Kent County Medical Society, and the Delaware Orthopaedic Society.
Dr. Manifold's particular areas of interest and expertise include shoulder and knee arthroscopy, joint reconstruction and replacement, and sports medicine.
